Keyz Marketing Website

I designed and developed the Keyz marketing website (keyztohome.com) to introduce the Keyz ecosystem — the mobile app for aspiring homebuyers and the Housing Counselor Portal that supports them. The site serves as the first touchpoint for clients and organizations to understand how Keyz bridges financial education and homeownership readiness. It highlights product features, explains the app-to-portal workflow, and provides a direct access request form for counselors and agencies. The overall goal was to create a clear, trustworthy, and approachable digital presence that communicates Keyz’s mission of empowering sustainable homeownership.

Role: Lead UX/Product Designer
Timeline: 2 months
Tools & Methods: Figma, Wireframing, A/B Testing, Prototyping, Usability Testing

Overview

The Keyz Marketing Website serves as the entry point to the Keyz ecosystem — a digital experience that connects first-time homebuyers, housing counselors, and educational resources through the Keyz App and Keyz Housing Counselor (HC) Portal.
Its goal: to educate potential clients about Keyz, drive sign-ups, and streamline access between users and counselors.

Challenge

We needed to design a marketing site that not only explains Keyz’s mission and value but also drives engagement across multiple audiences (homebuyers, partners, and counselors). The challenge was finding the right balance between trust-building information, intuitive navigation, and conversion-driven design.

My Role & Process

  • Sketch & Wireframes: Created early concepts and wireframes focused on the homebuyer journey — from discovery to sign-up — ensuring alignment with Keyz App and HC Portal flows.

  • A/B Testing: Developed and tested two different design themes (modern trust-focused vs. vibrant community-driven) to evaluate tone, engagement, and conversion metrics.

  • Prototyping & Usability Testing: Built high-fidelity interactive prototypes to test user comprehension, page flow, and interaction clarity. Conducted usability sessions with both housing counselors and first-time buyers to refine messaging and layout.

  • Integration with Keyz Ecosystem: Ensured seamless connection between the marketing site and the Keyz App onboarding process as well as counselor requests through the HC Portal.

Outcome

  • Identified the most effective visual direction through A/B test insights.

  • Delivered responsive, development-ready design files and established design standards consistent with the Keyz ecosystem.

Key Takeaways

This project demonstrated the impact of research-driven design in marketing experiences — where usability testing and experimentation directly informed creative direction. The Keyz Marketing Site became the foundation for introducing the Keyz platform to new audiences, guiding them seamlessly into the App and HC Portal experiences.
